I split up the babies yesterday morning. Kept 10 in the 10 gallon "nursery", put 12 in the 25 gallon community tank. One of the smaller babies didn't make it.. tail was chewed up pretty bad. I suspect one of the Cherry Barbs got after it. Sometims you have to let nature do the selection process for you.

aww poor little thing, but if the cherry barbs got at it, it was most likely weaker than its brothers & sisters and was for the best Smile

That's what I explained to my mom.. survival of the fittest prevails in a community tank..
