OK... tomorrow is my tank maintenance day.. I change the water in all aquariums on Thursdays. I have to clean the nursery. With 3 little ones, I am reluctant to vacuum... am I stressing over spilt milk? Will they hide from my activities, or should I just do a water change without the deep cleaning?

If it is just the babies in there you can get away with just changing the water, the more water changes for fry the better Smile

I have sucked up fry more times than i dare to count however the containers i use to empty the water visibly shows any fry swimming about so makes it easier to catch them.

However to make them grow faster would mean more frequent water changes as star has said.

I just wish my cichlids would hurry up and grow haha.

I managed to vacuum, and keep an eye on all 3 fry.. rescaped, and all is well.. will weekly water changes work.. with 3 fry in a 10 gallon? Or more often than that?

I think the scaping turned out nice this time. First time I have been happy with the Betta tank. I am on the look out for some driftwood. I think driftwood instead of the castle would look better...

For my fry I do daily water changes, but 3 in 10g you would only need to do a jug full daily if you wanted to do daily. I think you will be fine with weekly.

All the tanks are looking fantastic Smile
