Shift change, Job change!!!

I have decided after 10 years of working the midnight shift, that I needed a change of scenery. Beginning Tuesday, I will begin working from 3PM to 11PM, doing a very different job, with very different people. I suspect a slight amount of stress while I not only will be doing a whole new atmosphere of work, but learning a totally different sleeping schedule. I am excited, and nervous at the same time... instead of watching prisoners sleep, I will be working right along side them in the pods, and playing cat and mouse games with the knuckleheads, and criminals...

Rather you than me, I would prefer watching them sleep.

Wow, I bet the new sleeping pattern will take some getting used to. And I gotta say you're much braver than I could ever be!

How is the shift change working out? hope its all good and your getting used to the time change.

I love my new job.. I work with some awesome Officers.. the hours are worth getting used to.. I am very happy I made the change!!!!
