Limpopo sand Empty Limpopo sand

Post by Davo86 Tue May 08, 2012 2:33 pm

Hi All, hope everyone (fish included) are well

Wasn't really sure where to put this question but here goes

Does anyone have experience with Unipac Limpop Black Sand and if so do you know if it effected the ph and hardness of the water in your aquarium?

In theory water parameters shouldn't be effected but there has been some instances where it has raised the ph dramatically and I need to know if this is a rarity or the norm??

Thanks in advance

Hi Dave Smile sorry I have been going crazy with stuff going wrong, spoke to my friend who has used this sand, no it doesnt affect the ph at all as it has no crushed shell in it, it stays neutral Smile

Hope this helps
