Dimwit my hapless pictus got in the way of the syphon again just as I put it into the gravel, it will be ages before his whiskar grows back

Hehehe.. I feel lucky I have not yet sucked up a shrimp, or a fish... I work very carefully when I clean...

Dimwit is the only fish I have ever sucked up the syphon or put a peice of wood on ! he is such a curious little fella he has no fear of my hands in the tank at all and is just so nosey he gets himself into bother lol.

You are sure right there, I have taken the ends of his whiskar off before but never this low down. The syphon stuck itself to the bottom glass through the gravel sheering it off. No doubt next week he will be following my hands round and round the tank
