Yeppers there is manxes. Manx mice should never be bred with another manx as most of the resulting litter will die.

Manx is a form of spina bifida. If bred correctly though the mice suffer no major ill effects other than no tail.

Really!! thats fasinating. So if you bred a manx mouse with a "normal" mouse do you get a % of the litter manx?

So if one of that litter with a tail, then bred with another "normal" mouse would there be a posibility of manx in that litter or do you have to mate it with another manx? sorry for all the questions but I am fasinated Smile I think they are terrific, I have never seen one before Smile

Destiny (manx pictured above) is from two tailed mice, so yes the tailed carry the gene and can have manx mice
