Nooooooo No Fair!!!!!

I telephoned David Hancock yesterday evening to enquire what puppies were available (he is a lurcher breeder), he has non at all The puppies that are due to be born are all booked for homes, the next litter is due in February so I have put my name down for a female, but there are already other people booked for females, I need 3 to be born so I can have one, but that means I wont have the patter of tiny claws until April.

Have you had a look in local rescue centres? I don't know what its like for you in Birmingham, but the rescues around here have quite a lot of lurcher pups at the moment.

It has to be a young pup else Kes wont accept it , I have been well put off rescue centre dogs after Kes

That's a shame. I know rescue dogs can be difficult- both of ours are rescues, one would constantly pee and crap everywhere when she was left, and the other (a german shepherd too), although a sweet and lovely boy, does have problems with other dogs.
You can just never tell what the arses who had them before did to them.

My first GSD was a rescue, she was in a state bless her, fag burns on her face, no claws as they had been pulled out, skinny, but she was such a fantastic dog, Kes just wont let go of her problems dispite training and training

Found some deerhound lurchers, always wanted a deerhound, although these are 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhound, just waiting for the breeder to send pics, wont be ready until valentines day woooohoooo I sure hope I get one

Well it didnt work out, got pics in the end thanks to a friend, but they are all smooth coated , I want some hair.

Going to wait for a Hancock Lurcher, my name is down so fingers crossed there is more than 2 bitches in the littler due on 12th February
